Other Activities
The IDH organizes and sponsors conferences,
seminars and trainings in human rights. Similarly, in addition
to the periodic release of human rights-related publications,
the IDH conducts studies and research projects covering matters
related to the goals outlined in the Scope of Action
section above. Additionally, the IDH provides expert advice and
counsel to members in the public and private sectors both
domestically and abroad.
The process of determining what research
projects and studies the IDH decides to undertake is done in a
participatory, democratic and decentralized manner within the
IDH. Similarly, we execute, monitor, direct and evaluate these
research projects and studies in addition to the monitoring and
performance review our donors may choose to do either
independently on their own or in conjunction with the IDH. In
fact, the IDH welcomes donor involvement and participation in
those research projects and studies to which a donor is a
financial supporter.
Finally, the IDH collaborates with public and private entities
abroad by exchanging research findings, training techniques and
investigatory methods relating to the human rights problematic.
